According to author description this plugin allows you to regenerate the thumbnails for your image attachments. This may be useful after changing any of your thumbnail dimensions. This may be useful as well, when you are using theme which have different post listing types with different size of featured images. So when you are using one listing type for a while and then using other listing type with other size of featured image you will need to make all the featured images same size. This plugin will help you to achieve that.
