Here is what included in new update.
Since version 1.0.6 you don’t need to install demo content manually, that responsibility now on one click demo installer. This tool also installing widgets and demo settings, menus and other features which are usually not visible for first time users. You can start installing demo from Dashboard=>Appearance=> Import Demo Data=> and select one of the available demos.
If you want your demo to looked exactly like selected demo and to prevent conflicts with your current content, we highly recommend importing demo data on a clean installation. We highly recommend to create backup of your site before database reset if you are working on your database. Please note that database reset means cleaning all content that you have in your WordPress and restore to WordPress defaults.
You can use WP Reset, WordPress Reset or WordPress Database Reset plugins to reset your WordPress site.
Now you can make one of your widgets in sidebar sticky. just go to Dashboard=>Widgets and select “noemi: Sticky widget” and place it before the widget which you want to make sticky. Usually it is one of the last widgets in the widget list.
Some small feature which can be much useful then you can think. Now you can set main color for Noemi and change color for links. This usually may be helpful when selected main color has light shades. You can change color for links from Dashboard=>Noemi Options=>Styling Settings=>Link Color
You can have some post listings when you want to show only featured image of that post. For that cases now you can hide excerpt from home page and archive page. For that you need to go Dashboard=>Noemi Options=>General Settings=> mark checkbox for “Hide Exerpt From Pages”
This means that if your top slider on home page visible, then you can hide Featured Post Slider and Featured Categories Slider from other paginated pages. For that you need to go to Dashboard=>Noemi Options=>Page Settings=>Slider And Categories Options=>mark checkbox for “Hide Featured Posts From Post Listings”
If you set any post as featured on home page slider it will be visible in post listing by default. This feature gives you option to hide the post from post listing if it is set as featured.
Just go to Dashboard=>Noemi Options=>General Settings=> mark checkbox for “Hide Featured Posts From Post Listings”
Now you can change third font for additional elements in Noemi which is by default set to “Mrs Sheppards”.
Go to Noemi Options=>Typography Settings=> “Additional Elements Font Family”. If this is your first installation don’t forget to set google font api key.
Now you can make text in Noemi widgets bold, italic or apply other styling. Go to Dashboard=>Appearance=>Widgets and select any Noemi widget for adding code.
Now you can add more social networks from Noemi Options=>Social Settings

Before updating your theme we strictly recommend you to create backup of your site. When you are updating theme WordPress not removing your all data that you are added. Creating backup of the theme before update is recommended precaution for avoiding unpredictable bugs and mistakes.
There are various plugins and options to create backup of your site. We recommend you to use BackWPup plugin or any other plugin to create backup of your site. Also you can export your files in xml format from Dashboard=>Tools=>Export=>All files
After creating Backup file you can now activate one of the WordPress default themes and remove current Noemi version. Then just install latest version of the theme. Also you need to update plugins which are required for Noemi. Go to Dashboard=>plugins and deactivate then remove plugins which are required for Noemi. Below is the list of Required plugins for Noemi:
After removing those plugins theme automatically will offer you to install new versions of required plugins, do that and enjoy working with Noemi. In case if something went wrong you can restore your site with backup file.
