Write your posts for the “beginner level” readers.

Remember, that most of blog readers Google a question, because they want to find the answer. They don’t know it. If you are using <abbr> – please provide the interpretation of your Abbreviation.

Fill your profile information very carefully.

Talk about yourself in plain words, not much, but enough. Sometimes author’s bio is the only place going to link back to your own page. Here you can set the link to the landing or home page – where most informative information about you is collected – no need to link to specific post.

Always provide the unique content.

Using the information from other sites or blogs – always link to the original sources, used in the article (don’t forget about the images).

Use between posts linking system.

Create other related thematic posts (better on your own blog) and link to them. It might be not be obvious for the reader that it’s your own blog – it might look like direct promotion. You can write a guest post, covering only global questions and provide links to the posts that specify each point.

Use the user-friendly anchor text. Make keywords research before writing. Make it not only for the post subject, but also for your anchor text. This should be the phrase or word you want to be ranked for in Google. For example you are writing about themes you should find all possible search requires for at least last few months. You should read first page SERP articles, ranking for these keywords. You should find the search query that still has space for another interesting article – either posts don’t exactly answer the question, or maybe they are not up-to date, or maybe you feel you have more information to provide on the subject.
