Boombox GDPR compliance

By May 24th, 2018 your site or shop has to comply with European privacy regulations are known as GDPR (The General Data Protection Regulation) to avoid large fines.

By taking a few easy steps Boombox theme allow your website to fit the GDPR new requirements. You need to create a Privacy Policy page, that already includes the information about the data, you collect on your website and cookies, that you use. Here is our Privacy Policy (for the px-lab blog, built on the Boombox theme) – you can build your own, basing on it.

To start the GDPR integration, you’ll need to go to Customizing ▸ Extras ▸ GDPR. There under Visibility section, you’ll find options to enable GDPR compliance checkbox on the registration and contact form.

Contact us & registration forms

To choose the pages for the “privacy policy” and “terms of use” you’ll need to go to Customizing ▸ Extras ▸ Authentication and find “Terms Of Use” Page and “Privacy Policy” Page options.
